Reminders
• Pick up after your dog’s waste (anywhere in the sub especially outside of your property including common areas)
• No parking on common property - the roads are wide enough for street parking
• No riding of motorized recreational vehicles on the common property
• Familiarize yourself with common areas/tree preservation areas before starting projects (map can be found in bylaws). These areas must remain untouched. Homes that border the outer edges of the sub fall under the Highland Township tree preservation easement and tree removal requires a variance from the Township.
• The board needs to approve any/all landscaping and/or remodel projects as well as changes to the exterior of the home.
• Please keep garbage cans in your garage or behind your home so they can’t be seen from the road
• Mailboxes should be erected along one of your property lines and the box and pole needs to adhere to the standards already been set they those that are in place. Please maintain the box and pole.
• If there is a catch basin in the street in front of your home, please keep it clear of debris. Anything that goes down the basin ends up in our drainage system. The drainage system (like the roads) are the responsibility of the association and any maintenance repair is paid out of our dues/assessments.
• Watch your speed! Speed limit is 15mph throughout the sub. There are kids that we need to protect.
• Signs are posted at both entrances stating that the roads are private and the is no solicitation allowed. If you have any outside solicitors knocking on your door - make them aware of the posted signs
• Yard aesthetics - maintain grass and shrubbery and keep recreational items in the back yard behind the home. Advertising signs for contractors working on your home should only be displayed whilethe work is being done. Recreational and sports equipment needs to be located in the backyard -front and side yards are not to be used to store or maintain recreational or sports equipment.
• Boats, trailers, and campers are not to be stored (more than a week or so) on the property
• Sheds are not allowed anywhere on your property
• Commercial vehicles and trucks are not allowed to be parked on the property unless making deliveries or actively working on the property
• The board will not take action on any complaints unless it is submitted in writing to president.woodlandridgesub@gmail.com
